MUSINGS of a MADMAN
Nathaniel Papahawk Goldberg
presents poetic insights on thoughts, life's irony and beauty. The book is a compilation of poetry from New York's East Village, with Allen Ginsberg, to Paris and finally Colombia. The poems sketch various lifestyes culminating in an existence as a Westchester jazz musician and poet. It is a dilemma of the very guts of the creative mind with its madness, its hunger, its suffering, building to a crescendo within existence where the end justifies the means. The poems are extremely diverse, some easygoing, some serious, most devouring the beauty of life and its prize and pain, yet all capturing the verve and passion of Greenwich Village in the early 60's.
